The phone lines for all surgeries are switched to Derbyshire Healthcare between 12:30 and 13:30. All requests for urgent treatment are passed back to the on call doctor for the day. Routine requests for information, appointments, etc should be avoided at this time.

All prospective GPs spend at least a year in a training post, and our practice is approved for this purpose. These doctors will join us at the Darley Dale Medical Centre, for either three, nine months or a year. They are medically qualified and already have considerable hospital experience.
